Default quick resistor box question

just about to solder in my resistor box. I know i need to check for continuity in the dead plug and my injectors to find the live wires in their. Then to i connect the red wire to the remaining ones that weren't spliced into or do i connect the red one to the ones i just spliced into? Thanks

these diagrams are killing me! lol i know this is really simple i just want to be sure of which ones get connected to the red wire for the resistor box.

Well do you understand how the injector works? not mechanically but electrically? Yeah i hate diaphrams too

1.You take all 4 positive wires from the ecu(Yellow and black) and solder all those together with the red wire on resitor box.

2. then from the resistor box run the the four black wires to the positive wires on the injectors (yellow and black)

3.And run the signal wires straight to the injectors like normal

hope this helps

The injectors will all use the same power supply, which is why the all go into the red. The circuitry is opened up on the ground side of the injector, allowing current to only pass through that injector. This is why it does not matter that all of the power side of the injectors go to the same wire.

is this for obd1 or obd2. if it is for obd2, make sure that you are not splicing into the power distribution block, which is a similar looking terminated plug under the manifold.

That pic makes me cringe. Everytime you use a butt connector, God kills a kitten.

crimping is usually preferred over solder. look at the majority of mil-spec harnesses they are crimped

this is obd 1. I understand where the black wires goto on the car(the 4 in the dead end plug) The part i am kinda unsure of is do i just tap directly into the injector wires or do i tap it into the 4 that i didn't use earlier in the dead end plug?

into which car is this going into
if is going into an eg,ek or dc
u can make pnp resistor box very simple u can wire it to the grey plug next to the
clutch master cylinder u can tap the red wire to one of the yellow and black wire
and then u can trace each yellow and black wire from the injectors and then pin them out
and then pin to the plug of resistor box.

the only thing i am asking is after i solder the black wires to the 4 in the dead end that get continuity to the injectors, the red wire gets connected to the remaining ones left in the dead plug?
