Default Injector question....

Just wondering if there are injectors that you don't need a resistor box made up for? Sry for my lack of knowledge but where else will Ilearn. I need soem bigger injectors for my car for boost... anyone?

99 civic hatch with I believe 98 or 99 ITR b18c5 motor. Rightnow its running an obd1 ecu, but I just take away the harness and can run my obd2 ecu... yeah I don't knowmuch about fuel management

Just get some SATURATED (HIGH IMPEDANCE) injectors. (ie. 440cc, 550cc, etc) size of them depends on how much power you are planning to run. Saturated injectors are just plug and play for your car. No resistor box required.

I'm running 440cc saturated(high impedance) injectors on my car (1999 D16Y8).

Thats what i'm running....Precision 440cc They are great.

I bought mine used for $150 for all 4.

Well you still have to buy injector clips....they are not that expensive.

So yeah, you do have to cut the stock clips off and put the new clips on (ie. splice wires).

Its VERY simple though.

alright, I think I'm gonna' pick up some blue top 450cc DSM injectors already w/clips and liek 2" of wire... no resistor box, right?

No.

Blue top 450cc DSM are LOW IMPEDANCE injectors (non saturated) which means you will need a resistor box.

cake man, you can get up to 750's on high inpedence. anything above that you need a box. there are many writeups on the res. box install too. youll be ok.
also if you get confused on this too, this will help:
high impedence = saturated = no resistor box
low impedence = peak and hold = needs resistor box
