Injector Condition Question.

Injector Condition Question.
Here's my question. All of my injectors have pintle caps beside one. I am needing to know if it'll be ok to run these 450 DSM injectors like they are right now...or will i NEED that cap? Also, if i run without it...what could happen? or will happen...whichever....

I dont have a place to upload the pics right now, but they are in GOOD condition, very clean and whatever, it's just that the black pintle cap is missing from one...people know what that looks like.....an injector without a pintle cap....will it hurt the injectors?????

its fine. I broke one off and ran it for many many miles after that. I only replaced them cause i maxed them out and had to get larger CC ones!!
