Default inHG

what is a good reading for inhg on the boost guage? mine reads from 21-22inhg at idle........ what exactly does that reading mean? does it mean everything is sealing up good internally?

inHG is inches of mercury. Another way to measure pressure. It tells your the pressure inside your manifold.

Standard Atmospheric pressure is 29.92 inHG or 14.7psi. At idle you see lower than atomsphereic pressure because of vaccum. When you boost you should see higher than atomshereic. 30+.

20+ inches of vacuum is good for a turbo a motor.
