im real about this stuff..
for the tru honda boys... im building a gsr block 9:1 compression acl bearing kit... i would like to know if i could use the stock rods.. im not plannin on boostin no more than 14 psi... so i want to know if it would be safe to do it or is not goin to be reliable.. tru answers plz... no jokers... any help is appreciated!
Boost 14psi on what turbo? If you are buying piston you might as well get some eagle rods. They are cheap. Otherwise just use the stock rods and pistons.
buy rods. taking motors apart over and over again sucks.
in fact, i wish i would have waited until i had enough cash to build a sleeved motor and a huge turbo instead of being stuck where i'm at maybe topping 400 HP on stock sleeves. my new theory is 3 passes and i want more. hahahaha

if your going into the block to do work CHANGE the rods and pistons. dont know about you but i would rather have a bottom end i know that could handle 400 b/c i know i would want to use as much HP & TQ as i could outa the motor. but im not into hondas at all lol
i appreciated all of your inputs. i'm going to order the rods tonight.. by the way (garage 808) nobody ask for your opinion, you freely chose to come into my thread and made your stupp a** comment.. your help is not needed TOOL.
