im putting turbo on my b16a I think?
ok a stock 88-91 b16a is going into my 91 crx si from hmotorsonline.com
anyways my question is I have a garrett t3/t4 turbo w/manifold and intercooler. they say the motor has anywhere from 25k to 35k is it "safe" to slap on this turbo for low boost like 5psi?

Do a compression test on the motor to check it out.. Mileage has nothing to do with the condition of the motor.. If tuned properly then everything will work fine..
they said at hmotorsonline they compression test all they're engines, im pretty sure he sed 250psi or 255psi each cylinder?
correct me if im wrong.

Not sure what they do but I would still do one anyway.. You can pick them up really cheap.. What fuel/ignition management are you going to go with?

Your zdyne should work fine on a boosted car, I havent messed with the zdyne though.. Just make sure you get it tuned..

mileage has everything to do with the condition of the motor... you're telling me if you "properly tune" a motor that has 300k on the internals, then it will be fine?...

Yep.. Even if it has a million miles on it, it would be fine to boost.. Do you have any information to prove me wrong?
I have seen an engine with 10k on it smoking and had broken ring lands in it.. I have also seen an engine with over 500k on it still running like the day it was bought..

Yup.. I taked to a guy that other day that I tuned his car like a year ago and he just hit the 330k mark and hes boosted.. Runs high 13's in a crx with a stock motor..

see the Zdyne I have worked fine but it seems like its been " acting up " lately. its throwing wrong codes etc. but i'll try it if it doesnt work i'll have to use the stock ecu .
