im done so i give you guys first crack on my turbo stuff
well time has come and i realize that i just need to get out of this 1800cc debt. so im selling everything and everything is not used its all brand new with reciept and original packaging.
apexi ihi turbo kit for the d16 will throw in the apexi optional fuel setup (inc: missing link, vortech FMU, & holley 255 intank fuel pump retails for 300) asking 2400
apexi gt spec intercooler and pipes paid 800 for it asking 700
apexi twin chamber bov 200
apexi el meters 700 for all (egt, boost, temp, press) paid over 1000 for them
99 d16y8 long block with ls rods 400
agian evrything is BRAND NEW never used. this kit puts out a 190-95 on 5pds of boost.

all prices are negotiable, but the proces are pretty damn good i think. i paid 2300 for just the kit, 300 for the fuel setup, 700 for the intercooler, 200 bov, & 1060 on the meters. and its all new too. so people make an offer!!!

well, this credit card balance was from school and i woulf just rather pay it all off and move out and start a life. wish i could keep it though. i was looking forward to the turbo too!

What is a EGT gauge and also what is a missing link? I've heard both these terms tons of times and i have no idea what they mean

the missing link is an adpater piece the connects the map sensor to the throttle body. it allows you to boost without throwing a check engine light. the egt gauge stands for exhaust gas temp.

Pfftttt!! $1800 is nothing!! Worst case, I had $13,000 on my CC. Yeah that's right, I could buy a car with my CC. But its getting paid off at 5.9% so all is good.
Suck it up and keep what you got. You already paid for it and the best you will get is 75% of what it cost you and then you have what? Nothing.
If you part the kit out, name all the components and prices.
