Default Which is the ignition wire for a turbo timer?

i have a blitz turbo timer, and have figured out the wiring for everything other than the ignition line - i have a 92 civic hatchback........i read somewhere that its the black/yellow in the ignition column.......didnt work, so now i have to find out if im hooking it up to the wrong wire, or if i have a bad timer on my hands.

thanks for ur help in advance.

take off the the cover behind the steering wheel, where the key goes. on the left side of the steering column is wherer all the thick gauge wires are for the ignition. they are all labeled there.
