here is what i got and spent on the hondata setup:

aem fpr ~145
walbro intank ~112
hondata 2b =570
OBD1 ecu =300
skunk2 obd2 - obd1 harness =250
rc 440cc injectors ~370

so roughly 1800 ... imo a small price to pay for that extra insurance.

Im going to have the same setup as you very soon. I just have one question. Why would I need the AEM FPR? I thought fpr was not needed? Please let me know. Thanks

WHere are you getting your hondata tuned? I think im going to dynospot racing in mountain view. Do you know a cheaper place that does as good of a job around fremont?

u know for that much money i think people can get the aem ems which is a true stand alone....i know that its still new but haveing an obd2 ecu can really cost alot to run hondata.
Does anyone know if hondata will ever be possible with an obd2 ecu?
What do u guys think?

With 1800 you can pick up Accel DFI, Speedpro and most other systems with the expcetion of Motec. However you wire up the motor though. These have been proven, AEM EMS isnt really proven yet.

what do u mean?

IMO i think hondata is very expensive when u have obd2..all those harnest can add up. and when u get it done, its close to other true standalones out there.

I'm gonna make one final push in about 4 months and see what I can come up with for a hondata/aem or whatever..

my car idles wierd, little hesitation sometimes just cruising, runs rich... sometimes runs like total pig in traffice trying to maintain a constant speed 5mph in traffic. feathering the gas.. bucking and jumping..

car runs fine other than that.. i just want it to be tuned if i'm going to keep it.

4 months and counting... hopefullly they will lend me a little more when paying off the car with another bank loaning me the money.
