Default Hondata S300

I'm considering purchasing Hondata S300 for my 2000 Civic Si. I'm wondering why it is that I cannot run Hondata on my vehicle without converting to a OBD1 ECU? Do they not make a version of Hondata for my factory computer? If not, why do they make Hondata for ECU's such as the ones in FG2s, FA5s, DC5s, etc being as they are still OBD2 but do not have to convert to a OBD1 computer. I'm also curious as to where you all are purchasing your Hondata at?

OK.

Because they don't make it, which you would have found this out by visiting their website www.hondata.com

SEE ANSWER ABOVE.

Because they are flashable and the OBD-2a and OBD-2b ECUs have a one time burn chip that is very expensive and IIRC is not even made anymore. All this is EASILY found by searching the web. Even a how-to on it.

Whomever has the best deals. Typically Phearable.net or Xenocron myself. Phearable has awesome customer service, however I can't say I was that impressed with Xenocron's. Both ship fast though. You can also buy from the source obviously.
All responses are in BOLD.

The closest you will get is a Hondata Obd2a/b P28. That's a p28 with obd2 plugs so no jumper harness needed. The only problem with that is that they stopped making those back in 2008.

I got mine from Locash racing/cnc, but I would trust the names mentioned above. Never mind the fact that I have a s300v2 fro sell.
