idling problem
im having idling problem with my 92 gsr...i just put in some ctr cams with skunk2 cam gears and a blox intake manifold with a spoon chip ecu into my 92 gsr...its idling high like 1500-2000 rpm and stays there...after warm up id drops to like 1500 rpm...why is it idling so high...how can i fix it...?..do i need to tune it rite or do i just need to fix something...? please i need help...

i would check a few things...
1. vaccuum leak
2. basemap settings for target idle and iacv duty
3. unplug iacv and see what happens, try setting the idle using the idle screw

1) most "spoon" or other pre-tuned chips for Hondas SUCK. They're intended for the full "spoon"/etc, or they're fake.
2) Your cams may pull a different vac level at idle, so you have to reset your idle following the factory procedure.
3) You may have screwed up a vac line, or swapped your iacv and IAT connectors.
If you search "idle problem" in the search window for the FI forum, you will find dozens of other solutions. This is asked at least once per week.
