Default ID 2000's leaking at intake runner

I got some nylon barstock and cut some spacer rings for the base of the injector, below is a pic of the spacer I made. they worked well until about 35psi and then they leak. On the dyno you can see a mist or fog coming from the base of the injector.

Sooooooooo whats everyone else using for the base of these injectors?

I think you need a smaller thinner spacer between your rail and intake manifold so that you can screw in the rail further and the injectors should go down deeper into the rubber seal creating a good tight seal.

I took .020 off the rail spacers. same thing happened. I guess I could take more off. just worried about crushing the injectors...

Looking at the picture, looks like the injector is barely inside the rubber seal. Do you know how deep the injectors in the rubber seal?

here's a pic of the id injector. the silver part at the bottom is pushed all the way in the way into the spacer. I cut the rail spacers down again. We'll see how it works...

We ended up using washers on each injector to help secure the seal.
