i want to run 29+ psi on my civic lx help me reach my goal
i want to run 29+ psi on my civic lx help me reach my goal, i know that the stock aluminum block can only do like 14 psi with iron sleeves, forged pistons, and forgerd/billet rods, and a after market gasket, what else can i do to make it hold up under 30 psi
i am buying a rev hard stage 3 hypo turbo kit, and with 30 psi i can get 700 horse power, but i know ill blow up my engine on its current setup, help me out, please
currently it is a non vtec engine with eagle rods, forged ross racing pistons, and iron sleeves, what else can i do so it can handle that much boost

Pick a HP number, not a PSI.
This is going to take tons of money.
You're going to need sleeves, new rods, new pistons among other things.

BWAHAHAHA! Dude the highest D-series motor is like 450 or 500whp or so. What's with your obsession about "psi" instead of horsepower?
Just get a T25 and run 138 psi - you'll be the stunna king of boost.
Get real with your goals, then come back to us.

Uh, I don't know where to begin.. You need to do a lot of reading, starting off by having a WHP goal not a PSI goal. 700 WHP? Good luck bucko.

At some point you can only get so much air/fuel into the motor. Are the valves even big enough to support the air he would need? Even at a low 8to1 compression it would probably still detonate with anything but race fuel. Then it would never in it's life hook up when you press the gas.
Definetly a drag strip only car if you build it.
