I love the summer, Because the overheating threads are popping up again like wild fire
Check this if you fall in this category... feel free to add info....
-Jack car up in the front, pull rad cap off, let car run for 35 mins to bleed system of air bubbles
-check rad cap
-check all hoses and for leaks
-make sure fan is working and NOT turning on too late.
-ensure fan is blowing or sucking the air INTO the engine bay, NOT outwards.
-Check leakdown/compression for cases of sunken/cracked sleeves or blown headgasket
-flush system of coolant and run distilled water and new coolant.
-make sure rad. isnt super old and filled with deposits and sediments.
-check and see of coolant reading temperature sensor sending units are not faulty as well as the affiliated gauge.

basically... do basic maintenance on your cooling system and make sure it's up to par before blaming anything else
