Hehe, I got code 41 when I fried my O2 sensor by connecting the wires to the heater/sensor backwards

Great, so I need a new 02 sensor? Which wires did you connect backwards? the one that goes to the thick cream colored wire? How exactly do you connect it backwards?

You guys mean the wires off of the actuall sensor? Wouldn't I have gotten the code before my gauge install then?

i got the code when the wires came out of the connector plug above the sensor itself

errr sorry on second thought that might have been code 1, not 41.

How did you install the A/F gauge? I.e, where did you tap it to, what did you do, etc...

Well I tapped the red to the ignition fuse, the black to ground, and the purple to the thicker cream colored wire coming out of the blue clip off of te ecu.
