Default I had a shitty idea, please let me know what you think...

After much research regarding manifold types (log, cast, EL...) I realize a merge collector is more important than EL (or at least this is the conclusion I came to, however, I have not scientific explanation for it. Just from reading what others say.

So here is what I came up with, a bolt on collector that can be bolted to a log manifold (i.e., drag, inline pro, ). It will be less expensive than upgrading to a EL manifold with a merge collector.

What do you guys think?

Sorry for the shitty skills but you get the idea.

DONT STEAL MY SHITTY IDEA

HMMM, ud have to worry about dropping the turbo to low and if you bolt it onto a log, the gasses have already merged to get TO the collector, so in essence, you arent doing any good.

someone correct me if im wrong

All that would accomplish is lowering the turbo a couple of inches.

The collector has to smooth the flow from the individual runners into a common stream... a bolt on collector after the runners have merged doesn't cut the mustard.

I've toyed with using the upper part of a 4-2-1 header to feed different sides of a split turbine turbo, as a cheap easy solution... but that's a different principle that what a 4-1 turbo collector is shooting for, and still not ideal for a split turbine setup.
