Default I got a question and you may have the answer Tuners please look!

I got a built B18c motor for a turbo application. Engine is finally broken in about 500 miles on her. I broke it in with stock ECU and RC 270 injectors, no turbo connected. Ran perfect mind you till I did the following.

I got a base map from a Rep. tuner cause I going to get tuned very soon. I changed the injectors to Precision 1000cc, placed in the resistor box and changed the stock Map sensor to a 3 bar GM map sensor. I removed my stock ecu and put in a P28 with the chipped base map.

Here comes the weird part. The car would not start at all. Just putts like it wants to but no cigar. I pulled the plugs and they are COMPLETELY soaked. I changed plugs to NGK #7 and opened the gaps to 45. Still would not start. I then turned down the fuel pressure on the reg and changed back over to stock map sensor. It finally started but runs funny cause of the 1000cc injectors. It will not idle on its own. No CEL lights thank god. I then changed back to the GM map sensor and it wouldn't start. I then changed back to the stock map sensor and boom it starts.

You think I have a bad map sensor? I bought it used. I checked the wires to the map sensor and they are correct. The car runs enough where I can get it on a trailer down to get tuned but what do you think is up? any thoughts would be great. I just dont know if its the base map or the Map sensor.

PS: The tuner knew my entire set up for the base map... injectors size, map sensor, turbo ect.

you either have the wrong map sensor, or a botched base map

I have heard of people getting bad 3-bars all the time...
Seems like its the map sensor considering its been the one to solve and cause the problem in every instance.

no the wiring is correct, I'm going to check if I indeed have a 3 bar map sensor when I get home. I wonder if I got screw on HT.
