i got boost!
hey all i just wanted to post up a few pics of my car. this is my first car, and my first turbo project and it has been fun. i worked in construction and painting for 2 years to make the money for it and wanted to see what you all think.
set up
t3/t4 .57
inlinepro cast manifold
2.5 inch down pipe
turbosmart 38 mm wategate
greddy type rs bov
Warlbro 225 intanke fuel pump
550 cc injectors
chiped P06 tuned bye 93turbo16
the car runs great and i give props to blackeg for the base map and 93turbo16 for doing a great job on the tune
any comments on the set up or where i could possibly squeeze some more power out of the car would be greatly appreciated.
i want to also thank the HT community for the help that i have received along the way

Good job! I wish I would have done this with my LS....instead of wasting a bunch of money on a all motor B20. If only I would have known
That 12.0:1 is about as high as I would venture....if you get a little richer you'll lose a bit of power, but you'll ease your engines pain a little.

The powerloss between 12.0:1 and 11.5:1 is almost non existant in most cases.

Re: i got boost! (EM2Civic)
to those looking for the tuner information i had it done bye john Kerr from j &k tuning. hes on the forms as 93turbo16, i bought my ecu from him and hes a great guy
and yea, first time i boosted i could only think of one thing to say" holy ****!" it was the most amazing feeling, well worth the time and money spent. this car is fast and i cant wait to get it on the track to see how it can do, completely bone stock it ran a 16.7 lol, so hopefully i can get a 14.something time now.
thanks for all of your comments
before turbo
after
i couldn't help but post up a pic of my girl

Great stuff man. I love your car, it was a great car to tune. The car made great power for still having A/C and powersteering.
Also as far as the tuning goes, because of the scaling on the side it makes it look like it is around 12.0 the whole time, but in reality it is around 11.5-11.8 the whole time except for one spot.
Also I don't mind tuning cars in the 12.0-12.3 range on the dyno, since you are holding things in a controlled environment. But cars when they leave me are always on the conservative side.
PS. NEED VIDEO!

Re: i got boost! (RACEPAK)
so just a quick question, id like to be making about 250 whp, i just curious as to how i could do that with a few modifications, most people are going to say crank up the boost. but id like to stick with what i have. so with that in mind what are some of my options, i was thinking maybe a new intake mani and have it ported to match a p&p on the head. or go ahead and just bye a vtec head. any one got any ideas?

Congrats!! looks like a nice clean setup You never said how much boost this was at? I'm guessing 7psi? Glad to see another boosted LS on the streets.
And you should be in the 13's if you don't suck at driving
