I FU>>>p, I messed up my block is it fixible?
I was grinding the blocks with the dremel left side, where the compressors sits, it was hitting the block. But I took it to far and did a little hole(it went trough) on the block about 1mm less than that, I put some JB weld on it do you guys think it will hold? I think it should sice there is no real pressure on there need you guys opinions!!!

that kinda sucks but shouldnt be a big deal, u just may have to take it to someone who can weld aluminum. it should seal fine as long as the welder knows what theyre doing

Thats just the coolant jacket. Weld it and you should be fine, it doesnt hold any compression (that i know of)

Re: (booscivic)
Two reasons: Oil pressure. Different material properties, after repeat expansion/contraction it won't hold. No way I'd chance it.
You've got problems. Sorry bro.

Never underestimate the powers of JB weld... but when you can get the job done right then do it right. I developed a pinsize hole in my radiator due to the fan rubbing a fin... a little bit of JB quick weld solved that problem. Coolant is one thing, but oil is another.

I bet the JB will hold too if it's on there good, there isn't any oil pressure if he see's the rod, it's just the crankcase. The only reason I can see the JB coming off, like someone stated is the block heating up and cooling down. But I bet the JB will hold, there's no pressure pushing against it.
