I am going to get my fuel rail tapped for a gauge and bored, how far???
I have a friend that can do this for me and he was origionally going to just tap my extra rail for the gauge, but he said he could bore the rail out if I wanted. Is this a good idea and if so, how much should he bore it?

I believe the AEM fuel rail has a fuel gauge port that is 1/8 NTP. I think thats the standard. If your going to have the fuel rail drilled, your best bet is to buy your gauge ahead of time and take it to the shop with the fuel rail to ensure proper fit.

taken from the gemfg.com website. they have the biggest inside bore on the market but to give you an idea.
"Precision CNC machined from 6061T6 billet aluminum
11/16” ( .6875 ) fuel bore for maximum fuel delivery on street or full race alcohol burning engines"
so, i'd imagine that 1/2" or 5/8" would suffice just fine.!
