huge a/f drop when i pounce on the gas?
but if i ease the accelerator down, its fine. If i go from part throttle to wot in one swift move, i lean right out. Its like the injectors/pump cannot keep up with the sudden need for fuel. What can i do? What can i check?
b20z stock
walbro fuel pump
B&M fpr with .046 hole drlled for fuel bypass (38 psi)
Td04/intercooled running at 10 psi
Zdyne Gold
350 cc injectors

Sounds like either your fuel map is not tuned right, or the fuel pump primer field is set to low. I dont know if you have the option in Zydne to alter.

A crappy a/f meter off of the stock o2 sensor. I realize how inaccurate it is. However its good for telling me when i am in dire need of fuel.
I can feel the difference when it leans out. If i let up on the gas slightly, it will come back up and i can move back to WOT.
I did notice that the problem goes away all together if i run in open loop at all times. This leads me to believe it is ECU induced.
Anything else that could help?

If you have the option to play with it, look for something called "Tip-in enrichment" or something like that. That's what it is called in the Hondata system. With fast spooling turbos, high comp n/a engines, and JRSC systems, you sometimes need a "burst" of fuel at tip-in because the power comes on so quick when you stab the gas.

some systems also call it tps acceleration enrichment and there's also map acceleration enrichment. It's in the tuning for sure...

Yeah, its leaning out on tip in, my JRSC used to do the same with the FMU that came with the kit. What was said above will help you (tip enrichment). You dont just want to crank up the fuel pressure, that wont help any. Look into some sort of engine management, even if its piggy back and I think you will be ok.
