Default HPC/JET coatings questions..

Well long story short I'm going to have to smog my integra this year. And being that its turbo, I'm probably going to bring it back to stock (what a pain in the ***, but oh well) so it can pass.

While its out, I might as well get some of the exhaust parts coated, like the exhaust manifold, downpipe, and downpipe elbow.

Heres my problem.. My TD05h-18G turbo has a smaaall crack at the wastegate port, so I'm not even going to bother with coating it (even though power output/spool is still good), but will coating the other parts without doing the turbo housing affect expansion/thermal properties in a negative way?

Thanks!

I've read/searched into the topic as much as i can, but i still have these questions...

Its not going to cause any problems however, you will see the most benefits from coating the turbine and manifold. I would have to say its not really worth coating the DP. Id just go with some heat wrap to cover the DP in the engine bay till you get to the oil pan.

Not sure if you have gotten prices yet but the turbine and compressor will cost around 65-70 each, the manifold around 125, the WG elbow will be like 30 (outrageous I know), and the DP maybe 140???.
I would just do the manifold and turbo myself.
