Thunderbird T3 turbo (made by Garrett Air Research) A/R of .63 exhaust and .60 compressor with 60 trim compressor wheel. I'm also running an LS trans. how will this turbo do. Thanks to this forum I didn't waste my time with the IHI rhb5 that i first intended to use. I got a bigger turbo now and want to know how this will do.

 

a bit small but should be okay...maybe 250-300whp with good tuning

will it do any good on the high end? spool time? i dunno someone just recommended a thunderbird t3 over my old turbo.

 

you'll spool quicker on the T3...I would personally do T3 as opposed to a T3/T4 on a b16....just my opinion tho...high-end shouldn't suffer too much as long as you have a good DP and exhaust
