Default How to tell between boost creep and boost leaking?

I've been having this problem with my car. Under low boost (9psi) the boost stays steady, but once i up it to high boost (15psi) It will stay at 15 for a few rpms then slowly drop and settle around 12-13psi. I have a turbo xs dsbc, and a turbo xs rfl bov. The rest of my setup in is the link in my sig.

How can i tell or not if my bov is leaking compared to if i'm getting boost creep/spike?

for high boost is ur boost set to `15, it seems that the boost is spiking to 15psi and the actual boost is 13psi

I dont know. I have no way of telling if its set at 13 or 15. When my car was tuned we just kept turning up the boost until the injectors were at 90% duty cycle.
I dont know anyone that is boosting up to 15psi to check the mbc with.

I'd vote that you've got the creep.

I've had a leak in my intercooler piping, and all it did was make spooling happen slower.

How are your vacuum lines hooked up? I bet if you post a short description, some guys on here will be able to make some suggestions.

I think boost creep is when your holding boost, say 15psi and it slowly raises like goes up to 16-17+. Boost spike would be a quick shot up to 16-17+ and then back down. It isn't when it peaks at 15 and drops to 12-13

i had a post up before about my setup and if it was creeping and it never really went anywhere. and then i read another thread about the turboXS rfl's leaking so i was thinking maybe that was the problem
