how streetable is a 60 -1
here the deal.i have a jg pro series d1z6 arias forged pistons,saens rods,solid deck polished crank,etc-worked jg head. i was thinking f a 60 -1 to run on 600 cc ijctors plus a tec-11.is there gonna be mad lag on the street? cuz mycar is gonna be a weeekend tack racer every so often.i knw it will give me plenty of power at the track ,but what can i expect on the street?

You have to remember that "lag" will never make the car slower than it would be without the turbo... so even if you don't build full boost before 5000 rpm you're still going to be able to drive it on the street at least as well as if it were N/A. I don't think it would be that bad. I'm sure when you let it spin up you could demolish almost anything on the road.

dude no offense to you but you run an allmotor car.so are you just talking ***** or do you know what your talking about. my block is not stock.and ths turbo was suggested by javier guiterez.in case you didn't know he is the owner and founder of JG ENGINE DYNAMICS.i don't think his suggestion is stupid.

You should start to see boost at 3500 and have full boost by 4400. At least that's what I was told by the place im buying mine from. That's with a similarly built B16 motor.

I think that a 60-1 might be a little much for your Dseries motor. That is my opinion though...I have a 60-1 for my GSr motor.

I agree, with a smaller properly sized turbo you'll hit full boost by the time the damn 60-1 is starting to boost!!! You will feel that difference I think!!!

Go with the T3/T40E it will work well. On the trim you mention, is that the exhaust A/R or the compressor wheel trim?

T04X/T3 is just a "general" hybrid turbo from XS engineering.. they actually chose the wheel-size and exhaust A/R for you.. and they dont tell you what they've done.. hehe
