For my upcoming setup with my turbo LS, ill be running uberdata with RC 440's. Im going to run the basemap that Phiz has provided for me with my chipped ecu, which should be a pretty close tune since he has a similar setup to me, however he made a couple points that have me somewhat concerned.

First concern is the different turbos, mind you they are both t3/t4's, but mine is an SC34 and his is the Turbonetics turbo from the Drag III kit, and as well my intercooler is different than his (Revhard vs Drag). He mentioned that these two turbo/fmic setups will heat and cool the air different, but will it be significant enough where it is necesary to get the setup tuned asap?Secondly, he mentioned that under boost his A/F ratio was 13:1 in some areas, is this way too high?

Basically what Im asking is whether these issues are significant enough to warrant immediate dyno tuning?

 

I would do it right and tune it ASAP

Why dont you ask Phiz these questions?

13.0 in boost is where I start to get nervous. You could drive it around but I wouldn't go into boost at all, ever.

 

I did ask Phiz, and he said it should be OK but he didnt wanna give me 100% approval to beat on it too much. I just wanted to get the opinions of other ht'ers.
