how to remove spiral locks from pistons
does anyone have any tricks to removing the spiral locks and what tools would come in handy.

use a pick, slowly pry one side off and use a plier to pull the lock clockwise or counter clockwise

I hate those things, thats basically what ive done in the past also. Once you get it started just work it out slowlyat a slight angle.
