single cam, 2.0
9.3:1 cr
24psi boost from 4600-redline (on c12)
18psi boost from 4400-redline (91oct)
question, i've seen a supercharged single cam corrado with a 40 shot increase tq by 150ft lbs on the dyno, he sprayed at 2750rpm in 3rd, added ~40hp (was a 40 shot)
now thats a s/c so, im guessing he's ~6,7psi max at that rpm on the gladder. now i have a 6spd with lsd, so im sure it can handle a 150 ft lb increase on the fly, but any more than that i'd start to bite my tongue.
so on to the question, if i spray at the beginning of 4th gear on the track (~4800rpm) and hold it till redline /w 24psi, am i going to be off the torque scale or what?
btw i make peak 300ft lb's at 5500rpm give or take /w ambient temps

how do have a 6spd on a SOHC? those are fucken bank man, good **** tho.
a 40 shot might add like 20 to 50whp, but would be better used to spool your turbo.

dead on, its an 02m from a 337.
regaurless of manufacturer... the question still stands. its not at all about the hp, its about the TQ. but its Tq. that breaks things, so in order to keep it on the low side (no more than i'd say 100wtq all coming in at once)
maybe its all in how you setup the ignition timing as to why you get some much torque when spraying?
i just dont want to blow that transmission its too hard to find, those cars are still too new to get em from. got a steal on mine along with the 20v it was attatched to that i am building up :D
any more imput? you honda guys spray all the time! c'mon!

you know as well as i do that VW axles are crap. the 6sp boxes are pretty strong.
i think as long as you spray in your power band you'll be OK because your engine is already up and moving. i hope that made sense
