Default How much should I boost?

Guys...I have just finished installing my greddy turbo kit for the sohc vtec (finally). Now I have not upgraded my fuel system yet because i am on a budget (will get to it in the future). Anyway, my question is...I am running the turbo on stock everything except for the clutch of course...how much boost can my motor handle safely? This is on the 94 Ex Sohc Vtec with the greddy setup made for the sohc

Assuming that you installed everything that came with the kit (blue box etc) you should be fine runing the set 5.5psi thats it comes at.

If you are only running the blue box, I would suggest 4.5-5psi daily driving.

If you get some sort of fuel managment, maybe you can run 5-6 psi.
Overall TUNING would be the most important. Installing the turbo w/bluebox w/4.5-5psi will give you XXX hp. While running say a HOndata w/4.5-5psi will give you more HP even with the same psi. YOu might not even have to up the PSI.

How many miles are on your car?
All the little things matter.
