Default Greddy DOHC blue box on a SOHC? will it work?

what would happen if I hooked up a Greddy blue box off a DOHC kit onto a SOHC motor?

Don't they all do the same thing (dump fuel and open up injectors to 95% cycle under boost)?

I had Sohc 18g setup, and ran the 99si blue box. Ran super rich(310 RC's), but besides that, it ran great. I think with the stock injectors, it should put a perfect A/F. I ran 10-12 psi about year.
