i know im new to this site but after reading on here for 2 weeks you guys got me into turbo so bad i did some more reserch and bought some different things.
so far i bought a obx ebay style manifold,t3/t4 turbo a 35 mm tial wastegate ,hondata 2b with p28.31" front mount intercooler ,ob2 to obd1 harness cause i will be running this in 96 civc.what do you guys think of what i bought so far?. i already have a stock b16a2 in my car right now. how much boost would be safe to drive at for every day driving? and what psi would be pushing it????

your obx manifold is going to crack, brace it together and it could be tuned anywhere from 8-12 psi easily with hondata.

 

I really dont like the manifold you choose, but with the hondata tuned good you can push some high boost levels daily driven. Im pushing 12psi on my b16 daily with no problem.

 

Get bigger fuel injectors!!!! At least 440cc's and some good tuning.

 

thanks, thats one of the things i read on this site about the manfold, it wasnt my first choice but for my buget. the hondata had to come first
i will get barckets made before installing it. i also ready that ill need to relocate the wastegate will it now work the way it is?..
as for the injectors i am curently looking for rc 440 but looking for a good price

I run 11psi everyday. Just watch that manifold. I personally do not know of anyone that has changed the wastegate placment on it. I don't believe you can change it. It's in the design of the manifold.

 

are you making 264whp at 11psi? are you one a stock block, whats your other mods?

 

im running the same manifold on a stock b16a, i "relocated" the wastegate if you wanna call it that...My hp #'s are in my sig.

 

very nice numbers i hope to get almost the same. would you happen to have any pics of your manifold so i could get an idea for the wastegate?

im sure someone has a picture of where they moved the wategate???? come on guys, i got the injectors ,fuel pump, everthing needed and im ready to install i just want to know what to do with it. comon guys if you dont help who will????????
