Default How much do I need to gap my plugs. I already searched. got notta

I have a set of 1 stage and 2 stage colder plugs for different psi of boost. Both NGK plugs. What do I need to gap them at? Stage 1 for like 10 psi and stage 2 for like around 15-18 psi. Thanks

start at like .028 stated above, and if you get an ignition breakup, gap em down till it goes away. i am on 8's gapped at 0.018.

I am tuned on Chrome and the tuner said .032, but I heard so many different gaps that I wanted to make sure.

OT....i have NGK BKR7ES plugs in my boosted GSR at 9psi gapped at .28....the idle has started to drop off recently and i have to boost the car in order to get it to run....does that mean the plugs are fouled?

I start at .035 on lower boost setups and only gap down if ignition problems present themselves.

I have an H22 right now running 15-17 psi (spiked once to 30...ouch!) with clean ignition and a .032 gap.

Its all about how healthy the electrical and ignition system are in your car.

do you have a weaker spark at idle? And if so, is there a way to make it stronger so that my car idles...the ignition doesn't break up in boost, but it doesn't seem to want to idle until after a hard boost...

My ride did that too. I got retuned and now it's fine. Not sure what was wrong though. But you weren't the only one. Good luck
