how much for a conquest intercooler????
i plan on purchasing a used one, but how much should i expect to pay??? and what should i look out for before purchase? thanks

ok if your lucky and it is NOT on ebay you might get it for 80-100 but i would not pay more then hmmmmm180.00. just make shure you know if it is pressure tested. from the dealer brand spank'n its 809.19....for just the IC!!!

You basically feed pressure through it and listen for leaks. If you can't hear any leaks, it doesn't mean it doesn't have any, however, any leak so small you can't hear isn't really important anyhow. I have a starion intercooler (same as conquest) and I paid $130 on Ebay some time ago. Junkyards would be cheaper than Ebay though.

an air compressor should be good enough. Just find a way to block the other end of it so that air can't escape, then find a way to seal the side with the air compressor so that the intercooler is air tight.
fwiw, since honda's use MAP sensors (correct me if i'm wrong someone) it really shouldn't matter much unless the hole is freaking huge because the turbo will just spool a little more to compensate. I'm just telling you this because most people won't even bother with you if you tell them you want it pressure checked first. Large pictures, from every angle *should* suffice.
