i just got my lsvtec block from ge, im using a stock b16 head with typr r cams, my question is how much boot can i get on 91 octane? its going to be a daily driver.

 

If it was a 9:1 CR engine, you'd theoreticly be limited to about 15psi, since an effective CR of ~18:1 is about the most you can get on pump gas (9cr * 29.7psi/14.7 = 18:1). Depending on turbo, parts, tuning, etc, you really should look at overall WHP potential, not boost.

In most cases with the right matching of parts, you could get away with >20psi, but usually 375-425whp is the max for pump gas - 91 will be on the lower side.
