How much additional oil for turbo?
I plan on getting a drag gen III for my 00' civic ex next summer. I know my car takes 3.5 qts. now, do you think that I should put 4 qts. in with the turbo. Also, I am planning on using Mobil 1 10w40 synthetic oil with the turbo...or what other kinds do you guys recommend?

Re: How much additional oil for turbo? (b18bturbo)
won't the volume of the oil used for the engine now be allocated to the turbo, hence leaving less oil for the engine to use. BTW what oil do you use?

you just keep the same amount of oil the turbo utilizes just a little but it keeps rotating it back to the sump so really you are not using alot of extra oil. The only the feed line maybe takes a little but not much.
I use mobil one 5w30

No need to add aditional oil.
I use Mobil1 5W-30 since I have cooler climate here in Wisconsin.
Never had a problem with mobil1 but I have had a few leaks due to bad connections.(my fault)
I swear, Mobil1 will find the smallest leak.
Later.
