my buddy made 300whp on 13psi on stock internals using sc61, and it was his daily driver untill he got rid of it. he drove it each day at least 25 miles.....

psi is going to vary with each set up so your question won't really be answered, what turbo do u have??? i have a greddy turbo kit on my 01 gsr and i am boosting 10 psi, with 450cc injectors

problem with this question is that it really doesn't matter AT ALL. I can EASILY push 20PSI on my stock block with a giant turbo even. If the timing isn't there to make the power then the internals really aren't stressed except for excess heat, but the block will take it. It's not how many lbs are you running, but more how much HP and what is the timing like. I have pushed 19PSI on my block before, but timing was so safe it was stupid. Remember also a small turbo pushing 15-16PSI might be safer then a big turbo pushin on 9PSI because the bigger turbo will make ALOT more power. I hope everyone understands this and this thread ends

i agree
i was just going to say the same. 15psi on a small turbo is not the same as 15psi on a larger turbo, so on this thread your going to get numbers varying from like 5-20psi, in this case its not the amount of psi but the amount of whp u are aiming to get out of the setup is what you should be looking in to.

5lbs, stock D16y8, getting 180 whp, T3 dual BB turbo

But like everyone said above, can't really measure how much an engine can handle....... by pounds of boost.
