How Lean is Too Lean?
In terms of holding a steady speed? I just mapped my ECU and I'm happy with what I'm getting under boost. My wideband is showing 11s and 12s which is where I want it. However, say I'm driving down the street and holding a steady 30 mph. The WB is saying 19-20:1 and sometimes just LEAN. Of course I'm running 92 Octane fuel, but I'm curious as to what point I might start detonating when the motor is only under slight load. I do have forged pistons (9.0:1 CR), so I'm not insanely worried. Just wondering though.

Thats way too lean for cruise but its very hard to damage anything during light cruise so dont worry so much. Stock ecu's target 14.7 in closed loop during light throttle. If you want to maximize mpg then you can push 15.5 - 16.0 max.
