Default How hot does everyone's chargepipe get ?

Just curious how hot does everyones chargepipe get??? I noticed mine get's pretty dammmm hot.... also at the track I felt an Eagle Talon's chargepipe, and it was pretty hot too.... I'm wondering what the best way to keep it cool, or if rerouting it differently like a CAI and custom a piece to the intercooler.... I know I have seen some that go down right behind the radiator fan, and some are routed like a cold air intake ....

Thanks in advance.

is your's steel? mine's aluminum and doesn't really get warm at all. I guess the intercooler must be working

does the charge pipe metal physically touch the throttle body? the TB has engine coolant running thru it so it gets up around 180 degrees. your charge pipe will get that hot if its connected to it well.
