Default how do you get rid of boost spike?

okay, I have a crvtec turbo (t3t4 56 trim) internally gated with a log type manifold. I just installed the perrin equivalent boost control solenoid controlling it with hondata. My previous boost controller was a greddy profec b spec2. Right now when I go into boost I go around 2 psi over my target, then it goes to my target. It does this oscillation about three or four times while doing a third gear pull, it even does it at wastegate pressure (5psi with spikes to 7psi). With the greddy unit I did not get these oscillations at full boost 15psi, I don' t know for sure if the oscillation was happening at wastegate pressure while it was set up like this. Anyone have any ideas on this issue? Kind of annoying having to set my boost lower then what I am actually tuned to.
