I got a DRAG turbo kit with a few upgrades but the turbo is still the same ole t3/to4e. I wanted to push 16psi on this turbo and turbonetics says its good to 22psi before the fan explodes .

I was wondering what psi/whp you guys are pushing on the DRAG kit. If you have upgrades to the kit please note them [ic, wg, bov, etc.] also please list your ems if you have one and if you are b or d series

please pump-gas #'s/psi's only

I think people should also point out is they have anything else supporting it.... like boost retard ect

 

 

16psi on drag gen3 kit with t3/t04e

The kit is as it comes from Importparts, with tial 38mm w/g. Ems is Hondata, tuned by Mase.

 

^ whp? engine? was 16psi maxing anything out? (turbo/ic)

 

Have a friend with a Drag manifold, T3/T04E, Tial 38, Yonaka intercooler (24x12x3 I think) tuned with Hondata. Runs 17psi or so daily and has seen 22psi at the track. Has zero problems and drives it 50 miles a day, everyday.

This is on a built B16 making about 435whp on 17psi.

I was doing 15.7psi with the entire drag kit (on Hondata). Made 375whp. I wasn't maxing anything out, but I was getting really close.

 

ughhh im not to sure on the quality of my tune from the numbers im seeing around here........

I ran my DRAG set up with uberdata at around 16psi with the stock E trim turbo and intercooler and i put down 310whp. we tried to go up to 18psi and it wouldnt go.

im pretty sure i had maxed out the DRAG FMIC? that and the 2.5DP along with the horrible manifold wasnt allowing the air to flow fast enough?

i dunno....

Equal length + SC61 + 3" DP + Neptune + Jeff Evans here we come!

Im running a drag kit on my f23a1. Daily drive it at 11psi with a upgraded t3/t4 cbb 50 trim .63ar stg 5. Also running an AEM EMS. No problems yet but I haven't turned it up. Should have dyno numbers and ET's by next month
