how do you guys launch at the track
WickedHonda00, thats a great idea and what Blackeg has been saying. Dump the clucth at the wet box. Preload at the tree. Make sure the tires break loose a little bit. If they hook to well it may break something.
He probably won't break anything using street tires. However, that's why I mentioned slicks though. Cause anything less than 300whp on a decent suspension and slicks is gonna hook pretty freakin good. Bound to put stress on sumthin...
I wound up spinning both first and second gear my first time. Kuhmo 711's aren't **** for grabbing. I like the preload and 3-4K rev at launch. That's what I do at autox.
Yeah preload for sure. If your gonna use a street tire bring down the psi alot. I've ran a street tire as low as 17psi. Don't go in the water too like people are saying. Yeah find a good spot to rev to that you don't bog @ the line. Thats the tricky part. Get some slicks. Thats the fun part. I love that I can rev & hold @ 7,900 & grab & go. You should look into a dual boost set-up as well for future problems may come about.
