how do these head chambers look

Default how do these head chambers look

okay these are takin with my powershot camera and i am a photography grad..neways heres the pics .... the "damage" is very small and they are not deep it kinda resembles some wood rot i guess.. i bought this head and discovered this after the carbon was removed so i dont know how it happened is this okay or does it have to be fixed...and how much would this cost to fix? im building an lsvtec turbo thats why its in here

1 chamber

2nd chamber

3 chamber and the 4th one is good

take it to a machine shop, they can probubly blend that out.

It looks pretty minimal to me. Plus its on the outside of the chamber at the edge of the flame front. Some better pictures from the photography grad would help.

are you saying that is the cause of this or if i leave it as is it will cause detonation?

haha u know these pics are awesome..neways muckman, since its on the outside of the chamber would that mean its okay to leave?.. im worried about hotspots being created causing preignition or detonation , etc

its possible i drank too much Fosters tonight, but it sure looks like that is in the combustion chamber to me... JB weld if your worried take it to a shop and ask there opinion of it and see what they can do. Like someone else stated, you could just blend it out, edges and cracks are more of a hotspot helper.
