How did you guys seal your turbo flanges?
I was wondering how people are sealing there flange from WG to manifold and from the manifold to head. Is there any better gasket to use for the manifold to head? Has anyone tried using RTV high temp sealant on the WG to manifold and dumptube, mine leaks under boost, not bad but enough to leave it a little black looking. Let me know your experiances and the results, thanks!

well..when i bolted my manifold to the head.....and changed but 3 to all studs and a regular stock manifold gasket....wastegate to manifold...just gasket.....the only thing i put RTV on was the d/p to the exhaust housing....hope this helps

Hmm...im using a tial wg and maxrev manifold and when I used the gasket supplied it burned up in about a week and was leaking boost, but for my rebuild im gonna try some High temp RTV, I just hope it holds up!

i just used the flange they sent me for the turbo/manifold, and the same way for the manifold/engine. as for my TiAL w/g, i'm not using a flange, i just tightened the bolts down nice and tight and i don't notice any performance loss. good lord i recommend a downpipe though, i don't use one and it smells like *** when i'm at a stoplight >_<
