Default how to clean turbo

As the topic states i went to the junkyard today and found a turbo out of a
saab it's a t3 turbo and its filthy and i would like to know how to clean it what
kind of chemicals to use and etc... can i just spray simple green on it and use
a high pessure hose and a scrub pad to clean it?
And i was wondering can i take apart the turbo to clean the inside or is that a big no no.
Bought the turbo for $65.00 is that a good price there is minamal shaft play on it but besides that it's in good shape.

r u gonna have a shop rebuild it? IF so most of them will clean it up for u.

I used brake cleaner and a tooth brush.

well i just got cleaning my turbo sooo clean now VERY CLEAN
i use simple green and let it sit for 20min and scrubed it *ALOT of scrubbing..
and i used a high preesure hose to wash it all out . It use to be a gunk of oil build up on the cold side leaking from oil feed line but i dont think it needs a rebuild
turbine spins freely very happy w/this product soon to be on a d16y8...

hope you dried it out w/shop air after usin that pressure wash :-)

no i didnt use any air hose to dry it off .im prob. gonna go get it jet coated looks so nice when it's jet coated
