Default how to build...

ok, since i heard that building your own turbo is cheaper...how do you build one for a sohc?? what do you have to do with the headers? what parts do you need?

H-T has all the info you need on starting on your way to boost, try searching on the topic and asking some more direct questions. You'll get a better response to that. It is difficult to asker a broad question.

2. Intercooler
3. Turbo Manifold
4. Downpipe
5. Fuel Management (FMU, AFC hack, Hondata, etc)
6. Wastegate
7. Charge Pipes
8. Oil Feed/Return Line
9. Silicone Hoses
10. vacuum line
11. BOV

That should get u started.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, he said build your own TURBO.

I don't know, ask full-race they build their own or garrett

Okay I have a quick question..I have seen it alot and I searched but didnt come up with much. What the hell is a s/v-afc hack??? When I see the word hack, i think of ghetto rigging something....S-AFC werent used NEARLY as much in the Nissan world

afc hack = using bigger injectors, ie 450cc, 255 fuel pump, vafc/safc using the afc to tune the injectors and tricking your map sensor to run up to 12 psi of boost without missing link or fmu, someone else probably can explain this better

It would also help what you plan to do with your turbo setup......ie, how much horsepower and torque you would like to achieve...and if your on a budget or not.....
