Default hondata s300/jrsc problems...

I HAVE A PROBLEM...
first off...setup...
d16y8--- (00 civic ex2dr)
i/h/e
h/f fuel pump, fpr
jrsc 6lbs
i just received my hondata s300 for my jrsc. i opened the box and theres a piece of paper, cd, usb cable, and some stickers. cool, right? also received my 440rc'c I go to start installation (after loading software to my laptop) and disconnect my neg terminal. plug in my p28 that i had chipped and just received back with the other stuff and turned on the ignition just like the instructions said. it added the usb driver and i should be set to go, right? so i start the car and let it idle for about ten minutes. then i try to play around with it, just to watch the graph's or check the idle etc. I hadn't removed the fuel riser and the relay from the jrsc kit yet but didn't figure either of those things would just effect idle. I just wanted to make sure it worked. i couldn't get it do anything and i clicked on upload or download and the rpm's went up to 2,500 and the check engine light immediately came on. I shut the engine off and started it again, the light was still on and it idled to 2.5k again. so once again shut it off. i then unplugged the p28 and hooked up my stock ecu, and the car ran like a dream. also, no check engine light. what do i need to to do to get it running so i can see my readings? i cant find a base map for a jrsc single cam! i for sure thought it would come with one. just to get me to the dyno at least. or can i just not find it? help please also just found out from moss that i need a "map sensor relocator" and a integra IAT. (i should've done more research ) where the hell did all this blow up in my face at!?!? from those with experience, ADVISE PLEASE!

gl just tow the car to the dyno and have a tuner do it for rather than yourself and run lean!

You uploaded some map that wassn't right, If you don't know how to mess with it then either read the entire help file (good to do anyway). Or just drive to the dyno with the stock computer.

The Idle and all that is very simple to adjust

so for people that have the s300, does it come with any base maps for the jrsc? because i can't find them if it does. should i just start with the base p28 map? as far as i can see from the choices, it's my only option.

Start with the p28 map and modify the timing values to simulate a p2p rom dump.
Then get the car to a dyno asap for ignition tuning

These guys are right. Use the P28 base map, and tie-wrap your by-pass valve open so the motor won't get any boost. Get it to the tuner, and let him fix it up.

I think a '00 EX has the IAT in the intake pipe before the TB like an EM1. You need to get a sensor like a GSR (probably other Integras too, plus some older Civics) has with the two bolts that goes on the intake manifold. Wire it to the same wires as your current IAT sensor. Your JR manifold should have a place to bolt it to with a cover plate on it.

Your OEM MAP sensor is in the TB before the blower, it needs to be relocated to some place where it can see boost. You can either get the snappy MAP relocator from JR that came in their MAP Controller kit, or you can pull it off your TB, run a small rubber hose to a nipple on the JR manifold, and make a block-off plate (or buy a cheap MAP sensor off of ebay) for the hole in the TB.

I'm assuming you found thhe Hondata page about wiring up a JRSC setup:

Damn, that sucks. I've never seen a B-series manifold thatt doesn't have that port, but I've only done B-series JRSC setups. You gotta get the IAT sensor in the manifold somehow, if there's no fitting on the manifold then I'd probably drill/tap one.
