Default hondata question

i have a s200 and i want to change my shift light rpm, but i was wondering if my ecu/s200 has to be connected to my car when i hook it up to my computer? i dont have a laptop to change the setting with...plus i hate that the s200 system cant be changed with the rpm button anymore like my 4b did

you need to get your old map where your current chip is on the ECU, modify the MAP to where you can change the rev limiter, then reburn the chip and plug it back in on the ECU.

how often are you gonna change redline anyway ?
