Default Hondata inquiry

Hye Guys,

looking at purchasing an s200d and I am having a little trouble understanding how the tuning process goes (Not actually how to tune, but how to get the updates into the Hondata)

Is it safe to assume it is...

base map, run car with Wideband/Datalog/update info on software/ and uplaod to Hondata? How does the upload process work?

Thank you in advance...

Yv

Run the car, figure out what you need to change, modify the map on the computer. Take the chip out of the ECU (use a ZIF, Zero Insertion Force socket, like a quick release), put it in your EPROM/EEPROM burner, write the new program to the chip, reinstall chip.

Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

Or can use a Romulator and skip all that stuff.

I have one for sale.
