Hondata and intercooler question.
im wondering about how hondata works with different boost levels. i mean, once i get my turbo setup, and start boosting, and say i wanna boost 5lbs daily and 7 when i wanna race. using an ebc or mbc how does the hondata know when your running the higher boost and adjust for it? and how many different settings can you have with different bcs and the hondata? i.e.(different maps for diff. boost levels, etc., how does it work?). thanks.
and also, how good is a 2g dsm ic for the app listed above(just cause they are cheap and can be hidden fairly well). what about just getting the fmic to start with instead, because i will be resleeving and forged crapola later. thanks again.

Because Hondata take the readings from your sensors, and in this this case the load. Your MAP sensor tells the computer how much boost you are running. The fuel map looks much like a spread sheet. Now, lets say the max boost you want to run is 11psi, and 8psi daily. Well you would tune the car for 11psi, which is at the far end of the spread sheet, then turn it down to 8psi to drive safely.
Your tunner should know how to do this and it'll make alot of sense when you see what the fuel/ignition map looks like in a picture. But at this time the hondata website seems to be down.
this is the best I can do to not use big words and get you lost.
