Basic Hondata questions
I received my Hondata s200 /w boost awile ago after thinking i knew a lot more about it than I did. Just a few basic quesions about it.
1) Boost control. Will I need a boost controller while using my Hondata s200, or can the Hondata itself control the boost levels?
2) ECU prep. Where should I send the ECU to be prepped? Can I do this myself?
3) Base map. Would it be safe to granny-drive around for a month on the base map in order to get the money together to get it tuned? How relieable are the base maps in terms of running rich or lean?
All replies welcome

I can't tune it myself, and i'm pretty far from any respectable tuners. Thanks for the other info though.

There are plenty of people that drive on base maps, just need to find a friend or your hondata dealer to get you a good one, keep the boost low until it's tuned and monitor everything possible if you have datalogger.
Turbo Tune in Greensboro NC just did mine tuesday.I would not try to mess w/your computer .you have to burn a bunch of stuff out and solder back in alot.It looked complicated.Unless your skilled in computer board repair i would not try it.
